THE GHAT ROAD Tirupati to Tirumala is a 22 km ghat road. APSRTC buses run frequently from the Sapthagiri complex.

BY ROAD Driving from Bangalore is about 250 km — plan for the ghat climb and parking on the hill.

TIMING Avoid peak festival crowds for an easier darshan. Weekdays are calmer than weekends.
